Macroinvertebrates
Director | Cinematographer | Editor
Macroinvertebrates are water quality indicators that, unlike many other indicators, can be seen with the naked eye. Because of this, they make for a tangible measure of stream health. This video illuminates where these macroinvertebrates are found, how they are measured, what they can tell us about the health of a stream, how the surrounding environment can have an impact, and why that information matters.
These videos were produced as a collaboration between the American University Center For Environmental Filmmaking and the National Park Service.
